The internal diameter of the male thread must not be no less than 15mm for it to fit correctly into the slot and seat onto the seal. This means that though needing a 1/2″ one of these for many ice maker fridge connections, generally this won’t screw correctly onto your wall tap and this will then require the purchase of our JG Tap Adapter combo for Fridge 1/2″ to 1/4″ connection. Hand tightening is more than sufficient and at no time should tools be used for tightening this fitting.
